UKRAINE EMERGENCY CAMPAIGN
MAGEN DAVID ADOM, Israel's Red Cross, is working to:
- Transport ill and injured Ukrainians to Israel for emergency care
- Staff an emergency hotline with Russian- and Ukrainian-speaking team members to organize care for refugees flooding into Israel.
- Provide urgent medical services to Ukrainian refugees in Israel
- Send more ambulances to Ukraine; four armored ambulances have already been sent
- Work in a field hospital in western Ukraine, as part of Israel's Delegation
- Staff a field clinic they established in Moldova to assist injured and ill Ukrainians at the border
- Use a Mobile Command and Control Center to help coordinate evacuation plans
MAGEN DAVID ADOM's 30,000 paramedics and EMT's mobilize a fleet of more than 2,000 vehicles, including ambulances, Medicycles, helicopters, and more, to save every life possible. It is responsible for Israel's national blood supply, emergency medical services, and also responds to terrorist and mass-casualty situations and disasters around the world.
